How to Edit One-Time Plantings (Edit Notes, Add Trays, Record Lost Trays, & Delete)
This guide shows you how to edit the notes and delete one-time plantings. You can also add trays of the same crop to a one-time planting. Once the trays are in production and marked "In Progress," you can mark them as lost directly from the planting group. You don't need to go through the "Lost Trays" page in Microgreen Manager.

Last updated1. For this example, we're looking at a planting group of 25 trays of broccoli with a schedule planting date of today, June 30th. To edit the notes, click "Options" then "Edit Notes"

2. Change the notes to whatever you'd like, then click "Submit"

3. The new notes will be reflected in the planting

4. To add trays, click "Options" then "Add Trays." Adding trays is best done before planting begins. For example, let's say you created the planting group on June 15th. You later realized you wanted 30 trays instead of the original 25. You would want to add trays before the June 30th planting

5. Enter the number of trays you want to add to the planting

6. After you enter a number, the form will tell you the new tray count for assigned and surplus. In this example, there are no assigned orders. Click "Submit"

7. The new tray count will be reflected in the summary information

8. If we take this planting from "Planned" to "In Progress" by marking a task complete, a few more options appear

9. We now have the option to "Record Lost Trays" and "Delete Planting Group." These options weren't available before because the trays didn't exist in the farm yet. If the trays haven't been planted, there's nothing to lose or delete

10. Click "Delete Planting Group" if you want the software to act as if the trays never existed

11. Click "Options" then "Record Lost Trays" if you want to document the loss of one or more trays

12. The form will looks a little different than if you report the loss through the "Lost Trays" tab. In this instance, Microgreen Manager knows the crop and planting group already. Enter the reason for the loss and the number of trays lost. Finally, decide what orders should lose product. In this case, the only place to deduct from is the surplus.
